Foot Controller
Premium accessories for Diplomat Dental Pro and One Dental treatment units.
We have created a new foot control design to easily control dental assemblies. Combining a lever, and top and side buttons will allow for an optimal ergonomic environment for the dentist. The durable design visually synchronized with the dental assemblies will create an optimal working environment and easy operation of the dental device.

03. Design Process
Development
Diplomat Dental unit series is based on a geometrical minimalistic design language, unified across the whole product portfolio with very well-balanced proportions.
Concept Stage
Create new design language of full range of Dental Accessories. In concept design stage sketches are modeled using polygonal modeling. These non-manufacturing models serve for comunication of new design to client and also for initial conversation with engeneering team.
Prototyping Stage
WERKEMOTION Studio prepared manufacturing data for all visible plastics, metal or upholstered parts.
In cooperation with Diplomat Dental engeneering team we ensured stability, ergonomy and good kinematics of the unit.

Design Process
To ensure durability and precise control we designed the buttons to be nickel-plated and added rubberized surfaces for better grip.
